RED cybersecurity
Radio equipment on the EU market must meet Articles 3.3(d), (e) and (f), normally evidenced against EN 18031. If your CE assessment predates August 2025 and hasn't been revisited, that gap is open now.
GPSR responsible person
Every non-EU seller needs a named EU Responsible Person. Marketplaces have moved from warning letters to delisting.
Market surveillance
Authorities publish failures weekly through the EU Safety Gate. A withdrawal notice is public, permanent, and read by your retailers.

The ones we get asked first
How long does certification actually take?
For a typical radio-enabled consumer product with no surprises, a CE and UKCA programme runs in weeks rather than months once samples are in a lab. What stretches timelines is almost never the testing — it's a failed pre-scan nobody planned for, a missing technical file, or a lab booked without checking its queue. Those are the parts we manage.
Do you run the tests yourselves?
No. Testing is performed by accredited third-party laboratories, chosen per project and named to you. We are the regulatory and project-management layer on top, which is why we have no incentive to sell you a test you don't need.
We already have FCC. Does that shorten the European work?
Often, yes. Radio and EMC data from a competent lab can frequently be reused, and the gap is usually narrower than people expect — safety, RF exposure, and now the RED cybersecurity articles. The scoping call exists to work out exactly which parts carry over.
What does it cost?
You get a fixed written price after the scoping call, covering our management and the lab work as separate lines, so you can see what goes where. We don't quote a number before we know the product — anyone who does is guessing.
Can you act as our EU or UK Responsible Person?
Talk to us about it on the call. It's a named legal role with real obligations, so it's a deliberate arrangement rather than a box we tick.
